Here we go...

So our speculations were correct. Envy is indeed a child of Hohenhaim, perhaps from one of his lovers, and I assume Hohenheim left him when he was young. Perhaps returned later to find him dying, and made him a homunculus? I don't see any other reason why he'd harbor hatred. I mean, Hohenheim left him to go have other sons with another woman.

I don't understand how they're going to bring Archer back. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the few who love Archer, but all that will fix him is a fragment of the stone. Did you see? he's still bandaged like a mummy -poor baby. ;_;

OK, so Tucker transmutates Nina, but he had no way of bringing back a soul. I mean, there isn't a soul left to fix, right? Scar took care of that back in the eps, when he turned her inside out. Though perhaps, with more help, he could do it. I'd like to see Nina back.
Because of this, we found out everytime the stone is used, it erodes, thus eroding Al's body because he IS the stone. Now that Ed can't touch him, there's no way to transmutate his armor back to the way it was. Game over.
And if they do make Lust human, it would probably have to be the second to last thing they do. This all depends on how much energy is used. Taking Al's body and afixing his soul will be last for sure because it uses the most energy. Creating a body out from scratch.

All in all, I personally think Envy will be the last homunculi to be defeat. This means that Lust and Pride could POSSIBLY live. I don't see the Fuhrer as completely bad and neither Lust. Wrath might liv too, but I don't know if I see that happening; Sloth dies in the next ep.
But right now, I'm more worried about Roy and Armstrong. Their chances of dying are 50/50 unless someone puts a stop to the troops moving. -__-

I can't believe it, 5 eps left. Of course, then there's the movie :D but I personally think there should be another season. But we can't forget our beloved manga!

Okay, after having fully watched episode 46 subbed we now know for a fact that people will in fact die in the North as well as a(some) key character(s) and we know how.

The Fuhrer thought only that Roy was the target but it turns out Dante wants everyone dead, not to mention that she's greedy. (So on the hitlist: Roy, Armstrong and the troops headed to the North...and I think if I remember correctly the summary for the episodes mentions Winry being there but out of place and Ed too[but he's actually there or..maybe not?] so Ed's going to probably bear witness to the death of someone close.)

At the moment, we should be worrying for Mustang's and Armstrong's safety (as well as that of those around them I guess). I mean a good chunk of the troops will die but in the process, something will happen, Envy's going to be there and be the murderer again.

Episode 47: Ed v Sloth with Ed as the victor but Wrath and Al both being hurt bad. Its not AS spoilerific as some other previews so I can't speculate much.

Theory: Could Greed have been a child of Dante's ? I mean Hohenheim has Envy [With her for all we know] Dante has Greed with another man. Both die, Envy being jelous of Greed with the whole 'Who's the better child' seals him. Or at least something along those lines.

If I get grey hair after this, I'm blaming the series o_O;. (If I was of the age to start getting grey hair XD;;.)

Okay, let's not turn this into a soap opera.

Just a thought that's all. He is Envy after all and he does hate the Elric brothers for outclassing him in the 'most precious son' contest or actually for them existing in the first place. (Envy is envious/jealous of others by nature)

If it was done in a pointless manner then yes, it would be a soap opera but he's jealous by nature, so who can blame him? Most siblings these days get jealous sometimes of there being no balance between the baby sister/brother or him/herself and that the baby is getting the most care and love and the older sibling is getting zip.

I'm the youngest of 9 so I never went through that. I'm just speaking from what I've noticed from my friends and thier younger siblings. ^^

Oh this series hurts my brain!! The "what if's" make me dizzy. And I like it... I can't stop thinking about possibilities @_@;. I wish for the next episodes to run Saturday, Sunday, Monday, etc... speculation leads to grey hairs!

Oh! Insert the late-night improbablility ramblings...

I'm starting to doubt the possibility that it's going to be Mustang and Armstrong who die - simply because the characters know it's coming, they know to keep an extra eye open (could that be Riza's eye watching over them?), and the audience knows that Dante is out to kill them. This series has never made a habit of fortelling us that far in advance that they're going to do something incredibly drastic. If Gangan had never published the titles of those episodes then we get to the episode 48 preview and scream "*sees title and generally unhelpful preview* O_O OMG!! Dante's after Roy and Armstrong! One/both of them's gonna die!!" >_> They're a slick bunch of bastards, they wouldn't leave it that open for us.

I'm grasping at random hope to keep Roy and Armstrong alive.

Envy was way creepier/scarier with subtitles... I need to watch that bit again. He definatly has superiority/inferiority issues o_o;.
