Dante:Trisha::Lilith:Eve. Agree?

(yes, I know, ridculous and obvious... but the last time I used those markings for anything was when I took the GRE and I miss 'em)

Hmm,I quite agree.It's a very interesting way to see things.
That's just my personal opinion,but Dante's reasons of frantically wanting to live will most likely end up being something as 'her obsession for Hoeinheim to love her' or something of the kind, and 'she woun't stop because it would make her admit all she did was vain,she lived so long for nothing,all of this was vain".
Lilith,mother of Devils. Like Fallen Angels, the Sins are marked with a an unereasable seal[er,mark^^;;](okay,it's the oureoboros,which is slightly different^^;; but the concept stays the same).
And Hoeinheim is our Adam? Tempted by the serpent,wasn't he.But the "serpent" can also represents knowledge. Tempted by knowledge, tempted by alchemy.
Yes,it all fits. Except "Eve" didn'tdo anything forbidden,her children did it for her.

Throwing a little Cain and Abel into Ed and Al's sacrifice does add a certain spice to it, though, don't you think?

Actually, I've always loved the story of genesis.It's a bit strange but I love the concept of "beginning" ^^;;.*goes read Count Cain by Kaori Yuki* the achieving àof the Great Art and trhe echeleons to reach the philosopher's stone kind of make me think of the Babel story^^;.

Are you thinking of the mark of Cain?

Quite a good analogy. It seems to make quite a bit of sense. XD
