Random thoughts....minute spoilers for chapter 38.

I was going over chapter 38 for around the fiftieth time, when the thought suddenly hit me. Why are all the 'good' State Alchemists prone to overreacting about their specific faults/world views?

Ed ---> No need to explain. Any variation of small will be changed to Super Small Speck and/or variations.
Roy ----> Havoc simply said "It's impossible of you", Roy twists it to "Wet Match". This is so so so so like how Ed does his height thing.
Armstrong ----> Uh. He can take the simplest sentences and turn it into the most melodramatic line ever written. To which Ed is very unhappy with. XD;;;;;

So, uh. Is this just me, or has anybody else notice it?

Maybe alchemists have tendency to develop inferiority complexes. Perhaps this could be born from all the studying they had to do and, because of this oddity, they were ridiculed at school for being odd. Or it awakens in the military as State Alchemists are treated very lowly, especially in war, like dogs, and sometimes the public treats them poorly/don't appreciate them.

I don't think Ed is ridiculed for being odd.....he was teased for being short, though. XD
