One last plea...
OK, I hate to be a grubber (really I do), but my friend is after me for Envy screenshots showing where the Sin straps are. Does anybody know of a site that isn't Asskicking Alchemy and Automail that has those nifty character reference sheets (the black and white line drawings with scribbled text in Japanese)? I know one exists, because I have found character reference sheets for Wrath... @_@ This makes me sad that I have to ask you nice people again. I promise I won't be rude and beg-ful again...

i dont think envy has those straps. but he does have a triangular pattern on his headband. is that what your friend is looking for?

Hum... I think they're behind his shoulders in his back... I gonna find you a picture.

they are on his back, right behind the shoulders, forming a v-shape to the center of the back. If I had my character design book with me right now, I'd scan.

Could you possibly post the Wrath reference sheets or link me to them?

Attencione!

I have the FMA Initial Materials sketchbook, which is, essentially, exactly what you're looking for.

However, I won't have access to my scanner till tomorrow.

But basically, Envy has the red circle patterns in 2 places:
1. The headband: 3 circles arranged in a broad triangle pointing downward.
2. On his back: On in between his shoulder blades; then one each on the flesh of his shoulders. (can we say Spirit Gum?)

When I get home, I'll scan and post Envyness for you. ^_^

Oh, and Wrathness too. And Moofyness, if you like.

AH! Please do! BTW, where did you obtain such a book?!

Just so everybody knows...

Arel, if you hit me on the head with a wrench too many times, I'll sneak into your house and swap your artbook for an old Britney Spears CD. I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!

(Just kidding folks.)

You do that and I'll sneak into YOUR house and draw little mustaches and goatees on all the characters in your doujins.

I know where YOU live, too, missy. ^_^

Kinokuniya Book store, Japantown, San Francisco. I was actually looking for the animation artbook, but this was the only FMA artbook they had.

And it actually turned out to be a shitload more useful than the animation book ever would have been. C'est la vie.
