Okay...to keep myself sane after this month's GanGan teasers, can I ask you guys a few stupid questions? Story-bloopers-thing related. Not really spoilerific.

1. Okay. Psiren filler episode. There, we learn that Ed can indeed dry himself using alchemy. Likely case to be a messed up thing made by BONES....but since it's there, it's canon and why the heck doesn't Roy have something like that around his clothing somewhere?
2. This is just to confirm my suspicions here, because I'm not sure if my ears are working right.....in the Ura Hagane DVD extras, if anybody else's got it....there seems to be a recurring theme since Vol. 2 to Vol. 4 about Roy teasing (?) everyone about dating female!Alphonse. So. I listened right, or I listened wrong? (Because, this is like, canon yaoi if I listened right. And the minor Rizaness. Bwar.)
3. Episode 6, Ed's birthday is in early Winter, I think. It seems to be first snow. But before that....where's autumn? And where's Winter now? Ed's 16th birthday just passed, and we don't seem to see any snow...unless I remember wrong. (Yes, I know his birthday doesn't seem to be winter in the manga)
4. Random observation. Has anybody noticed that when Roy fights, he uses explosions when he's not serious (maiming, disabling, tournaments, et cetera) and when he's seriously killing things, he just roasts it (episode 13, 42)?

And a random observation.

In FMA, Alchemy is a science. So. In our world, in one of our sciences, one basic equation happened to be F=ma.

I just thought it's amusing when I flipped through my old highschool notes. XD

And I'm positively convinced now that the FMA games are legit AUs in their own right.

In answer to question 4:
(I'm phyll btw... ^^")

I noticed the same things as well. Sometimes I wonder myself, what's the difference between Roy's alchemy and Kimbley's. ^^"

Re: In answer to question 4:
As far as I can tell, Roy adjusts the oxygen concentration around the target, then strikes a spark with the gloves to ignite it. Kimbley (Kimberley?) just uses his arrays to make whatever he touches blow up. Especially people.
-_-; Wow, wouldn't he be fun at parties.

"Hi, my name is-"
"...Not again... Why do we invite him?"

Re: In answer to question 4:
LOL. True true. XD I haven't actually seen Kimberley in action yet. But I lurve to see Roy do his thing~ :D

1. Uh, Roy is slow? He needs a second array on his glove...
2. I just envy whoever can know about that stuff. Wah, wanna know about female!Al talk. ;_;
3. Okay, I haven't seen those eps in far too long, but the snow, wasn't it very temporary? Maybe they're in one of those countries where getting any snow at all is rare. I know we have a girl at school who said she had never had a white christmas before because snow rarely came in winter wherever she came from.
4. Yeah. Making big booms isn't very effective, but it makes for a nice show and it can scare the hell out of Ed. :)

Scientific approach to 4:
Technically, Roy uses conbustion in his alchemy because that's pretty much what he's doing when he uses his 'fire'...and Kimbley just has the ability to change objections into combustion objects. So really, Roy has the supped up power of Kimbley because Kimbley has to use objects and people for his alchemy to work while Roy can just create a combustion in mid-air. So basically Roy can control the extent of his use of alchemy while Kimbley's depends upon the objects he can obtain, making Roy much more useful and powerful, especially when it comes to reliability.

And yes, from physics primarily, Force = (mass)(acceleration)

Re: Scientific approach to 4:
I'm not even sure 4 is a question, but I'm happy somebody agreed with me. Roy's alchemy is so DAMN CHEMICALLY GRACEFUL. It's so elegant. *sigh*

Uh. I love my profession.

Yup. Can't think of anything but Full Metal Alchemist when I see that formula nowadays.

For that matter, when I see "Federal Marriage Amendment" shortened to FMA, I think of HagaRen, too. Made reading the paper difficult for a while.

And I thought me thinking of FMA when seeing FMet-tRNA is strange....

Haha. Yeah, we studied that this year. Looking at it, I nearly cracked up. Force equals Mass x Accelaration pwns.

For #3, weren't they all shocked when they got snow that year? I don't have it on my computer or anything, but I'm pretty sure they were all like "**GASP**! It's snowing!"
