help with finding art of a certain fanartist?
Hello all If you hadn't noticed hubedihubbe.deviantart.com/ took down a lot of her FMA art without warning. As an aspiring FMA artist and rabid FMA fan I collect FMA pictures and art done in the style of FMA. unfortunately I only had roughly half of her pictures saved on my computer. I was wondering if anyone else had any of her work saved on their computer and could send it to me via email if I gave you my email adress?

If she took them down herself, I think it'd be best to not ask for them. She deleted them for a reason, and while I may not know what it is, I doubt she wants something she's gone to the trouble of deleting circulating all over the internet and onto people's computers.

Aw man. I wish I could help but I can't. That's the way it goes when someone leaves a fandom. They take their toys and go home. Sucks doesn't it?

According to her DA journal:

So, a few of you might have noticed I've bigtime-cleaned my gallery from the art I no longer find appealing. |8( I feel kinda relieved, I've been wanting to do it for some time now. Some of them was just shit, and I feel ashamed to have people still looking at it. But now they're gone, I'm glad.

Which, which I certainly understand the 'ack, old art!' squick, I always find incredibly sad. I'm a big fan of archiving. ^^

I'm not at deviantart enough to know any better but can you send PMs over there? Maybe you can try to contact her and let her know that inspite of what she thinks of her work, somebody really likes it. It is pretty stuff after all. The worst that can happen is she ignores you and does as she damn well pleases. just a thought...

You can, but she's already said to a few people, 'sorry, I'm just not comfortable with it.' :-( Artists are usually their own worst critics. *pouts*

I totally agree. There's a couple of my online art friends that make me weep, since their 'old, ugly CRAP!!' makes me feel horrendously inadequate, art wise.
