Kimbley's Surname Origin
Came across this interesting article on the origins of the surname "Kimbley". LOL and I thought that it's something Arakawa came up with... but I still like to spell Kimbley as Kimblee. : )

Here is the source

How interesting that Kimbley is a real surname! I always thought it was either made up or an approximation of "Kimberley". Of course, someone had to point out to me that Maes is a real name, too ...

And on clicking I find it is indeed a British regional variant of "Kimberley". As a Brit, this makes me oddly proud - it seems we do have the awesomest villains.

All villains should speak with a British accent. Makes them easy to recognize. XD

:P

We totally killed Mel Gibson's beloved wife! In like three separate movies. We are so naughty. Also, suave.

Yeah, the way American action movies go, if there's a British/Aussie accent IT MUST BE THE VILLAIN.

Unless, of course, it's the absolutely uber!cool/hyper/world-weary thief trying to turn over a new leaf or something.

...you just know Kimbley speaks with a British accent. >_>

When you start monologuing, I'll worry.
bob_fishbob_fish on January 7th, 2011 02:15 pm (UTC)
Actually, enemy laughs at me for monologuing quite a lot ...

Don't be sarcastic, or I shall have to threaten to cut your heart out with a spoon (while pacing up and down and hamming it up). XD

You'd have to get past the elds and my amazing!archery skills and my mad ability to pull swords out of every corner of my house.*

*At least two of these things are true.

Well, I think our roles in this movie have been established. Too bad I get all the best lines. :P

Cool, I never knew you had a sword collection. XD

In that movie. THERE ARE OTHERS.

I do. And actually, am not a bad archer. (There are soooo many reasons Robin is my ultimate hero.)
