I've had the Brotherhood DVD set for quite a while, but I just sat down and watched it (why did it take so long, because I'm lazy, that's why) but I finished watching the second DVD and watched the commentary.
I have to say that the commentary made it worth the however much I spent on the DVD set. I just wish that there was more than just two commentary in the set! The sheer randomness of the commentary is what makes it so amazing.
And in conclusion, for all those that haven't watched the commentary, you all should go watch it now!

*And the fact I've seen Maes die a thousand times, and I can't believe that I still cry!!! ..-__-..*

I love commentaries, especially the ones on anime dvds. They can be random, funny, and surprisingly informative ^^

The one to episode ten explained telsa's and edison's battle between which currents we would use ac or dc. (I would look up if I'm saying the right thing, but I'm too lazy...) XD
Your Icon is beautiful!

The commentary for episode 10 is hilarious! (and I'll admit, I'm tempted to look up Brain Tonic)

I had never heard of it (or any of it's ingredients). But I am too! It's really sad that we are easily swayed by what the voices of our anime tell us...

I was actually upset that the guy that voices Maes didn't even know how old his character was. I am a nerd that way.

Otherwise, it was pretty entertaining. :D

I was too! I was like...research dude...I had assumed they all, like look the stuff up, or something, but I suppose not...lazy!!

Actually, I have a better retort.
It's sad enough that Sonny Strait (Maes' VA) doesn't know his actor's age, when on the tomb stone in both anime's it showed it, but the fact that none of them knew that Roy and Maes are the same ageish was terrible. They said 'Wow! Maes is 29! (or whatever) I thought he was in his 30's!'
And then said Roy was like, 26, or something! GAH!!!
But yeah, the fact that it was in both anime and he caught on now, in the commentary, is pretty sad... :(

Well, at risk of starting an age debate, I have always been under the impression that Roy was slightly younger (and Riza younger still). However, as you said, his tombstone as pictured in both series, and the manga has been available for years and years. I was surprised none of them have ever read or watched the whole thing. I watch it in Japanese anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Fma.wikia.com says they are the same ageish. That's what I go by. *shrugs*

I hope they keep this in for the English dvds. They have a habit of cutting all the extras out.

These are on the English dvd's.
