g-guys... anyone remember this?

We all know that everything that Arakawa does is for a reason, and really, everything is just a matter of when and how it'll reappear again in the manga. Does anyone else think this will have any effect on the final chapter? ;A; I've never forgotten this scene as the fact that Darius picks up Kimblee's stone RIGHT AFTERWARDS makes me want to rage at him for not finding it earlier, so.. yeah ffffff.

hmm. Look at it this way. If it did shorten his life some, then he'd only live to be 88 like it says in the illos instead of 100 like it said in the OVAs. :) Eighty-eight is still a good long life to live so I'm not particularly worried about it. ^_^ I like binaryalchemist's theory too. This was just a plot device to age Ed a bit. Right now, I'm more concerned with Ed surviving his final battle with Father rather than whether or not he lives to be 88 or 100! :)
