New PSP game.
An RPG one and BandaiNamco made it. :D
Hopefully, It wont be ... a little bit disappointing like the first one. D:
I think It'll be based on the manga story. <.<;; again... ._.;;
Why can't they make their own story like Squareenix?! >A<;;
Aww... BandaiNamco... You disappoint meeeee... ;_;

I can't tell if this will be a good or bad game BUT it will be a game that I am finally able to play.
I was never able to play the PS2 ones, because I live in germany and have a PAL PlayStation 2 on which it is not possible to play NTSC games but on the PSP you can play every game, no matter which country it is from.

My sis, who can read japanese, told me that the producer of this game had said something like this,
"Enjoy the characters and even the new characters, blah, blah, blah."

New Charas? :D
Meaning... There will be new characters? 8D

Well... We really don't know. ^^;;
Hope this would be a hit. xDDD;;

I'm interested to see how it turns out. seems like every FMA game has at least some potential, no matter how unoriginal or boring it sounds. assuming there will be fights, I hope they're not like the Wii games where you just press a button or flick the remote... if they made something like Dream Carnival but with combos, that would be pretty sweet. /ramble

how bad was the first PSP game, anyway?

Well... the PSP's story line was from the manga.
They kind of a just distored it. Like, When Gluttony gone wild and swallowed up Ling and Ed, there, Ran Fan will be swalloed up,too.

I love Dream Carnival, too! xD<333
That's just the BEST!!! xDDD

Thanks for the information! Haven't heard of it before I saw your post. And yes, god the first PSP game was *so* bad >_> I consider the PS2 ones (not the dream carnival one. vsfighter=guh..) as actually the better of anime based games, so it was quite a let down. We'll see how this goes.

At the end of the day tho, WOOT, it's on the PSP! (still yet to try the more recent Wii one with Al's blushiness lol)

I don't really have high hopes for this game, and I like RPGs. :/ The FMA games have never really been able to grab my attention beyond a few interesting screenshots, but at least this time around it would seem that they are giving Ed and co' better looking hair on their character models. The fighting game on the PSP that came out earlier was a really huge disappointment graphically speaking, even for a game based off of an anime. They also appear to be adopting a more softer, painted look for the skins on the models instead of just simple cel shading, which I guess also works out well. Ed's face looks good too.

I'm kind of wondering where all of Ed's fingers went though, it looks like he's wearing mittens on his character page. XD

I'm secretly hoping this won't be as big of a letdown as the first PSP game was, but I'm not exactly holding my breath.
