Indeed! Yay! This is great.
(I wonder who's gonna be translating, is it real people/natives etc. Hopefully not Babelfish.)

Yeah, I thought about that too. It's gonna be interesting, whoever it is/they are.

Panini/The Licensing Machine is the official distributor in Italy, so I hope/think/pray they'll do something professional :)

Should I dare to wish it might be the same people who do the Finnish translation of the manga? Because it's been pretty good as far as Finnish manga translations go.

(Who did the subs for the first anime, anyway? I was never super interested in it, but as far as I can remember, the subs weren't bad.)

I haven't read or watched FMA in Finnish so I don't know how they are, but I'm absolutely going to watch the Brotherhood also in Finnish, if they're really going to do it! (:

I'm in/from Holland, and they can't show the video content because of my location... I guess that means that for me it's legal to watch illegal fansubs :)

Well, the company Dybex is said to have the license, and they have have the movie with Dutch subs, but I've only seen it advertised here;
It's a beginning :)

Here's hoping that FMA is an example of what we can expect from anime for the future.

I know they're all hedging their bets on this series being successful due to the franchise and are therefore willing to risk spending money on licensing it so early, but I can't help but hope that synchrostreamed anime is going to become commonplace.
