Direct streaming of the TBS channel + instructions

This is an extension of last week's post.

Easy streaming link:

This is a streaming link that allows you to view the TBS channel with software you already have on your computer (i.e. no need to deal with KeyHole). The quality is good. Last week, it streamed as if I had downloaded the episode. No buffering at all.

Software Instructions

File -> Play -> URL... -> now input the link

Right-click -> Open -> Open URL... -> now input the link

Right-click -> Open -> Open Network Stream... -> now input the link in the top box

File -> Open -> now input the link

Windows Media Player
This was a bit tricky because I couldn't find the File folder. I maximized the software, though, and there it was. After that, it's...
File -> Open URL... -> now input the link

Quick Time
This gave me an error and didn't work. Not sure why. Maybe it will work for you.
File -> Open URL... -> now input the link

Not sure! I only see the option for audio streaming (under Advanced) and it doesn't work for me.

That's all the video software I have on my computer. If anyone has additional instructions, let me know and I'll add them to the list. Thank you!

Edit 5/31/2009: The stream links for TBS didn't work for episodes 7 & 8 and they're not working now for episode 9. Hmm... If anyone knows of other stream links that are still working, let me know. In the meantime, I suggest you try (you need a registration key to make an account, but you can find one online for free if you Google... people post them in random forums).

Edit 7/5/2009: Just adding more information... Once you sign into Freshverse, look for Analog Low Quality on the top right corner. Click that and you will get a channel list. Find the TBS channel.

Edit 7/12/2009: Oh ha ha, I found out that if you have an account, you can invite friends. Anyone who wants a registration code, just message me with your e-mail. You can also ask anyone in the live thread. Someone will help you!

Edit 4/25/2010: Freshverse is also down. It's been down for a while, but I thought I should edit this page just in case anyone reads this who didn't know.
