Episodes?

I don't know how accurate this is, but Wikipedia has a listing of the Episode titles of Brotherhood up to ep. 5:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Fullmetal_Alchemist_episodes#Fullmetal_Alchemist:_Brotherhood

So, it looks like our episode break down is this:

2. Backstory
3. Lior
4. Nina
5. Introduction of Scar

So meaning if they intend to follow the manga, then we've got the Resembool, 3rd laboratory, (possible Al angst arc) Hughes, and Rush Valley arcs before we even GET to Greed.

...I dunno, I was kinda hoping that'd we'd screw that and jump right into Greed so we can get to Xing and stuff, but whatever. As long as they're planning on getting to it SOMETIME, I'm happy, I guess.

If this info is accurate, looks like Lior is going to be one ep, which works, I think.

Was the first Rush Valley arc the one where Paninya (or whatever her name is) stole Ed's watch and then Winry delivers a baby? Think they could fit that in one ep? Not a whole lot happens, really...

yeah, that's what it seems, which is cool. I mean, even in the first anime it was only two episodes, which wasn't too bad.

And yep, that one. I'm really hoping they condense it into one episode, cos you're right, not much happens, but for all I know they could drag it out into two or three episodes just to make the show last longer XD

I somehow doubt they would stretch the 1st Rush Valley arc - I mean they could but there are over 90 chapters now, so it's not like they're going to overtake the manga and there's so much more that they could expand on. If they ever decided they were desperate for more episodes they could pull from the more serious gaidens (or the lulzy ones - Havoc and the Armstrongs ftw :P).

Actually, given how much manga there is, I just want them to get everything in, and not...I don't know, run out of funding have to make up some kind of filler ending or what have you. Although given how popular FMA seems to be it doesn't look like that would happen *is hopeful*

Ah, I highly doubt it, but I tend to pessimistic at times XD Like, "of course they'll spend a million episodes on the few parts I hate", but logically I don't really think they will. I just worry unnecessarily :P I wouldn't mind seeing some of the gaidens though! Actually the first anime got a couple of the gaidens itself (including Havoc and the Armstrongs xD), so hopefully they'll do more :D

One that would be wicked is if they included the Roy-Hughes interaction from the Ishval war in the Ishval arc - the one where Roy is hiding in his tent and Hughes comes to get him and Roy completely flips his lid and Hughes tells him he's fighting so he can go home and Roy has thirty seconds before he has to get up and follow orders. I can't see where they would fit the Blind Alchemist gaiden. Havoc and the Armstrongs would have to be after the move to Central, obviously...but he takes up with Lust almost right away, doesn't he? And things move at a fairly decent rate, it'd be hard to fit stuff like that in without messing with the flow of the plot.

I hope they don't skip the mining town where Ed scammed lieutenant what'shisface - the guy who ends up hanging out with Scar. That was fun. Or the train highjacking. Don't skip the train highjacking, it was so lulzy!

oooh, yes! I would love that! <3 ANY sort of thing showing them in Ishbal (fansub translations have corrupted me) I'd be happy with, first anime had Hughes not in the war at all because he 'asked for a desk job'... yeah like that makes sense >>

I'm not sure where they'd fit the Blind Alchemist either unless they just decided to throw in a random filler early on, but even then I think it'd stick out a little too much. Personally I'd love to see the Elric Family Omake but I have no idea how they'd fit that in, unless they turned it into a random Ed or Hoho-papa flashback, which might seem a little out of place in the main plot XD

Hmm, it'd be kind of hard for them to skip that altogether, wouldn't it? Yoki's not central to the plot (or is he? :P) but it'd be an awful lot of trouble for them to change things around just to leave him out. They might skim over it though? No telling XD

I wouldn't be surprised if they did skip the train hijacking though, since it was in the first anime already (albeit changed) and nothing major happened during it D:

Ishval/Ishbal/I don't know/don't really care :P
...a desk job? Srsly? What. The hell. Now why didn't Roy think of that?

Oh the Elric Family Omake. Tinyviolent!Ed is so lulzy. Hmmm. I have no idea where they could fit it.

Yoki becomes relatively important, and his knowledge of mines becomes a plot point so...

NOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo, don't skip the train hijack! The train hijack was so awesome/hilarious!

I know, right? They all could have just taken desk jobs to avoid the war!

Yeah, it wouldn't really fit well, but it'd be so cute.

Yeah, but with a little work they could probably find a way to leave him out, if they really wanted. Not that I think they will XD

It was :D I hope they don't, but I just wouldn't be surprised if they did.
