Save ME: Ch. 10
Title: Save Me
Rating: R

Warnings: Violence and ANGST. (yaaay!)
Summary: Roy Mustang is sent to Lior and is captured. After five long weeks of torture, will he ever recover?

Here is CH. 10: Ed didn’t really sleep much that night. Alphonse kept telling him to stop worrying, but Ed couldn’t help it. Guilt weighed on his shoulders, a heavy burden that assaulted his mind with images of the Colonel being beaten and tortured to keep his youngest subordinate safe.

I ♥ this chapter! It's just perfect! XD XD Like, the pain here(pysichal & psychological) is just tangible and real. I feel so sorry for the lot of them.

Eeek!!! What's the assignment?!?!?! I gotta know!! And what will Roy do now that he's sure others can see just how unstable he really is? Loved the paternal side of Roy. That was so great!

Still fretting over Roy's mental state, I tell ya. If Ed felt compelled to admit that he could see Roy's "problem" too -- it's serious.

And poor Maes, having to deal with it. Waaaah!

Loved the chapter, as always.

Wonderful as always. You're killing me not letting me know what the assignment is, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

And you're in California? Stay safe, and here's hoping the fire doesn't spread to you. <3

thanks!

Yeah... but we always have fires here. California has three seasons: Earthquake, Fire, and Mudslide... lol.

But we're safe. Unfortunately, my roomate is a biologist and she collects/studies plant samples from this really threatened area; we are tracking this fire like crazy, just hoping that it doesn't burn her project site and data...

Thanks for your concern! <3

Excellent chapter. It was very telling that Ed, who would charge into any kind of physical fight, is hesitant when faced with the torment Mustang is still dealing with. He's still not an adult, no matter how much he wants to be. And Mustang touching Ed's face, then pulling back, saying, "Don't touch me," reflectively, is a poignant indication of how fragile he is.

And I'm dying to know what assignment Ed has been given.
