FMA SDVD boxed set
Okay... can anyone tell me, or does anyone know at all, what kind of special features the new boxed set DVDs of FMA are gonna have? They come out in September according to Best Buy although VIZ had said they were coming out in February, which was a lie and made me very aggravated so I bought the single DVDs anyway.

And now I want to know what the boxed sets have so I can weigh the costs of selling the singles for the boxed set or if I should even go through all that trouble. *sighs* This really sucks when they come out with it now and I've had my DVDs oh, a few weeks and they've been watched once each.

Anyone else a little pissed they spent hard earn cash on the singles?

Eh, I'm not too upset about it - I bought the tins because I wanted to own the soundtracks without paying 30$ for each individually. It happens with series that the boxes get released eventually. I will, however, be ridiculously upset if there's like a bajillion special features on the box set DVDs that weren't on the originals. Like, if the OAVs or something end up getting released on them. I will be pissed.

Let's hope not XD! Gah, that would stink! And they didn't have the tins when I bought mine.

DITTO as I assume that when they release dvds individually and a box comes with the first that the subsequent dvds will fit in, that means they AREN'T going to release another boxset with more extra stuff that takes up less space on the shelf that also costs less.... So while it would be nice to have dubbed OAVs, I don't really want to buy this series AGAIN. haha...

What does VIZ have to do with the distribution of FMA?

No, it was in their Animerica quarterly from Best Buy, which is the only place I can get anime not online where I live. Anyway, don't trust what Viz says, that's what I've learned.

I haven't been able to find anything about it, either. Barnes and Noble shows it as being released in September, but has nothing about contents. Amazon doesn't have it listed yet, and there's nothing on the Funimation site itself. So I'm stumped.

I don't know anything about it. I have the set with the tins as I too wanted the soundtracks but I will be going to Suncoast this weekend I will see if they have anything cause Amazon.com didn't.

icv2 has an image up (which is the Festival Tales DVD cover image for some reason, is that what they're using....?) and the blurb says that this is a Season 1, Part 1 release featuring the first 16 episodes and the little booklets that were included with the individual DVD releases.

So I guess there are going to be 3 of these, like there were 3 tins released. No mention of other special features though, so that's good news at least. haha (For those of us that already own the DVDs anyway!)
