A warm bristling fire, a cozy blanket, and a hot Mustang. What else could anyone ever want for Christmas? That was at least Ed's point of view. Before he started dating the famous Flame Alchemist, Christmas meant very little but presents and time to spend with Al to Ed. Now Al was spending time with Riza (who would've thunk that Al and the first Leuitenant would hook up?!) and so Ed got his chance to cuddle up with Roy at their house.

Yes, their house. One of the many things Roy had given Ed for the holiday. Roy said that they were a family now, and they should live like one. It wasn't a giant house, but it was all Ed needed. A small study, a room for them, a room for Al when he chose to visit, and of course the other rooms found in an average home.

"I have one more thing I want to give you before tomorrow." Roy interupted Ed's thoughts with his deep, midnight voice.

"But it's not Christmas yet, can't this one wait?" It wasn't like Ed didn't want to open the gift, he just liked to have things to open Christmas morning too.

"No, I want to give this to you now." Roy got up, leaving Ed's right side rather chilly. Ever since they'd been able to restore Ed's arm and leg (and Al's body), his right arm was almost always cold. Though, it was nice to be able to wear regular clothes again. When Roy came back he was holding a small black box. For a wild second, Ed thought it was a ring. But he already had that.

"What is it?"

"Well, open it and find out." Even with only a single eye, the bastard could still look smug...and hot. Ed took the box from Roy and opened it slowly. His eyes went from surprise to joy. Inside was a pocket watch. One that Ed thought he had lost a long time ago. Carefully taking it out, Ed opened the inside. Scrawled in his own, young handwritting was "Don't Forget 3.oct.10". The only real reminder that any of what had happened was real. Ed had forgotten what is was like to have his meant something to him. And it was the best gift ever.

"Shh...I know." Roy pulled the boy into a light kiss. "I love you too."
