FMA Boxed Set?
Ok all the episodes are released over 13 DVD's. The movie is finally out. So does anyone know if we can expect them to do a boxed set? I really want the seris but I'd rather not go back and hunt down all 13 disc.

Not for a good while. FUNimation's got one nasty habit going on right now where they're releasing complete sets or smaller sets (more episodes in less discs) right when a craze is just about dying down and has been milked for all its worth.

We've still got the OVAs to get dubbed and such, so I would assume we won't see boxsets until after those are released.

Considering how FUNi's screwing around with the releases of YuYu Hakusho and Dragon Ball Z right now, I wouldn't be suprised if we even saw sets of FMA including the OVAs and movie after the OVAs are dubbed and released seperately.

Dude, I would wait for that kind of awesome.

All the episodes, OVAs, and the movie in one set? WOW. Definitely worth waiting for! ♥

Hardly. The OVAs are definitely not worth anyone's hard earned money.

I wouldn't say in one set. :P FUNi's still known for milking a franchise. Just not one an entire series boxset.

Not necassarily. I know I've saved a TON by buying the dvds off ebay one at atime. And I'd certainly not be happy about being forced to buy a whole set just to get the OVAs. I hope they're released seperate as well.

Knowing FUNi, they will. And they'll most likely end up releasing them with other portions of the series or movie in a much later release just to milk it.

Dragon Ball Z and Detective Conan fans knows this all too well as FUNi just recently started releasing DVDs for the first DC episodes (which aired on Cartoon Network's adult swim but never got released on video), which rendered the first DVD release useless as it has the first four episodes on it, while the re-release comes with the first nine episodes. DBZ fans who finished collecting all of FUNi's DVDs aren't too pleased to hear the series is possibly being released again, in smaller amounts of discs and remastered. Not to mention, the rest of the second set of the Vegeta saga got canned in favor of a set that'll be released soon which'll have 36 episodes on it, rather than the 12 DVDs FUNi was intending to release seperately.

That's what I always thought they should do. But isn't the LE coming out next month? And I've heard nothing about the OVA's being acquired for dubbing.
