Madhouse Madness at NCK'06
I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning this on the community, so I thought I might; Nan Desu Kan is kind of an obscure con in the middle of nowhere, but somehow we managed to get a bunch of the Madhouse staff as guests this year, including Seiji Mizushima, director of FMA. We got sneak previews of his newest series, Oedo Rocket, a chance to mob him after the Conqueror of Shambala showing, and I got a chance to meet up with him at the signing session as well:

(That's a terrible picture of me, but I still like it because afterwards Mr. Mizushima asked if he could take my picture for his website. The director of FMA liked my cosplay. *Dies of happiness*)

The Autograph ^_^.

Did anyone else here get to attend NDK and have a chance to talk with Mr. Mizushima? Who else thought he was as incredibly cool and as much of an otaku as any of us as I did? ^_^. And did anyone get lucky enough to have him answer their questions at the panel? (I didn't get into the line fast enough and they never made it to me...sniff...)

That's so cool that you got to meet him! I've never been to any American cons, so it's awesome to see pictures. What are those books under his hand? A movie art book? *_*

Oh! Um...I think those were posters. A bunch of people got them in the pre-registration packets, and I think they were the same thing. The thing in the middle is just my DVD ^_^.;;
