If every volume of FMA manga have 4 chapters...

Maybe the creator just got bored and decided to add in some Asian people /.___.\ I guess Xing is the equivalent of China in FMA world. __^__ Now there's a crazy little girl with black hair with many braids..with a mini-panda @_@| who praises Ed as god (haven't actually met Ed..or else... >@[]@|||) She has crazy alchemy skills though ..|||||| and this older man who looks evil with these ANBU-like people (which got beaten by Ed and Al in like..less than 5 minutes .__.||) Both looking for the Philosopher's stone.

Although it's reasonable connection..saying alchemy includes .."making medicine which gives eternal life" from ancient China which I don't know how to say in English >>a

(crazy little girl // evil guy .__.)

(The country Ed and Al is staying at is called "Amestris"? .__.)

The sudden spin-off from the current topic makes the story less unnerving.. |D They already have Armor Barry falling in love with Hawkeye XD Why did he die in anime, though? He plays an important role right about now..

(Dubbed FMA will probably never make it to Canadian TV ..but anyways)

THAT is the thought that's pissing me off (me being in canada). There'd betetr still be a subbing group doing FMA, regardless of the fact it's licensed . T_T

yeah, sometimes being a Canadian sucks. I mean Americans can at least get their cheap fix by getting it on tv, sure you'll have to wait a bit untill they get to the later episodes but it'll still come. We're stuck with waiting potentially years for expensive DVDs or downloading now illegal fansubs.
*starts grumbling about Canadian content regulations*

But then again, I do believe downloading music is still legal here (don't remember hearing if the appeal went through), be nice if that would transfer over to anime, eh?

Heh, it might get on Teletoon, but very unlikely... YTV, maybe too, cuz they got Inuyasha. I kinda wish I had digital cable right about now. I wanna see what Funi does to to FA. TAT;;;;

I have digital cable. Does that mean I have it? O_O;

I don't think you can get CN with Canadian digital cable... I think only (illegal) American satellites can pick it up. T____T;;

They certainly don't make it easy to Canadian fans to get anime legally, that's for sure.
(and on a completely random note, but you might be interested, NB now has an anime convention, Animaritime (site will be updated... eventually ^_^) *slink off*)

I'd just like to say that, be thankful that YTV won't be airing it. The Canadian censors are surprisingly a lot more harsh than the American ones, and as somebody who lives in Canada but filches gets American TV, I can testify to seeing episodes air on the midnight run that were slaughtered by YTV's after-school slot censorship. All I can say is, I'm kind of thankful.

Yes ... I remember them dubbing down an already dubbed-down Dragonball Z. XD

I think we get maybe at least one new anime series like every three or two years.

Toonami had Gundam Wing on their block, and then about two or so years later, YTV got it, but they played it later at night, sheez.

Have you (meaning all Canadian anime fans) been by href="http://www.pathea.com/features/canada/index.shtml">this site</a> before? It's got some really good information about the technicalities of airing anime and such.
