Ok, so it's bad enough That Funimation has it, but going to cartoon network?

Any guesses on what names will be changed to? Cause I know they are going ot change some.... *sob*

But FMA already has entirely Western names. Just what are they going to change "Edward Elric" to?
It seems like the fangirls enjoy freaking out or something.

Um... they didn't Americanize anyone's name in Fruits Basket. They even kept suffixes like "-san" and "-kun" in the subtitles.

You mean they Americanized the names in one of their big releases? That hardly constitutes all.

This isn't Dic, the names will remain.

Sheesh, everyone give funimation a chance. I think they'll do well with the release.

I sure hope so... Fruits Basket really was excellent in my opinion, but from what I've seen their quality can be all over the place, so I'm not going to expect much. If they do a good job, I will be pleasantly surprised, but I really don't really want to place my bets yet.

Yeah, the way they called Yusuke "Yusuke" and Kuwabara "Kuwabara" and Botan "Botan"...REALLY AMERICANISED THERE!
