This is torture! Wrrryyyyy?!
Why is Viz Media making us wait 3 months between each U.S. release of the manga? That is evil.

I got all excited last night and have been excited up until about 5 minutes ago... I went to Viz' site for the new releases and THOUGHT I was reading that vol. 8 comes out on Jun 18. It actually comes out Jul 18th but me and my sleep deprived eyes thought we saw Jun.

But why so long between each release?

Because the Japanese have to wait four months between their releases for this series?

Maybe it's because I'm so behind or because I still remember the days graphic novels were released every six months, but I don't think three months is that long to wait considering all the retouching they have to do.

The most logical reason is because it's not their only series and so they don't pull a Pokemon and catch up too fast with the Japanese.

I remember those days also. >.> Part of the reason why I missed the end of the Sailor Moon Manga because I ended up moving to where I couldn't find it in a bookstore...and they went out of print..

Ah well..like everything else..it will probably be brought back.

That sucks. Stupid ex-Mixx!

Hopefully. I had started reading it shortly before they decided to dump it.

I happened to find it one day and started picking them up as I came across them. Then I moved..and finally found a store that I was buying them from..and they were no longer there!

Now I order almost all my manga online unless I happen to be in the bookstore and find it. (My Barnes and Noble isn't always stocked like they should be..or my Hastings)

I'm only missing a couple of volumes from the Stars..but they are so expensive even if you buy them used.

That is sadness. D:

I don't think Barnes and Nobles is ever stocked like it should be.

Ack. That really sucks. Might as well learn an Asian language and get those ones instead.

What's sad is they have a massive selection now..but if figures that the series that I'm actually collecting at the moment are almost always out of stock...>.> Apparently everyone else wants them also..or they don't get them.

So over all I'm somewhat pleased with them, and then again I'm not.

Their stock just seems completely random. I've been looking around for volume 2 of Kimi wa Pet (Tramps Like Us) for nearly a year so I can browse through it and yet I never find it even if they have 3 and over.

Somewhat pleased since I also do remember the days when I got excited when I found the Pokemon manga shoved in the middle of the comics section. But even now with a whole section devoted to manga, yeah, it's still hard to find what you're looking for and really irritating to find the books littered everywhere because kids read a whole bunch of DBZ but don't put them back. I really should work for them from the rate I try to tidy the section up for my friend.

Mine is pretty much organized, although they do have a turning thing with random manga in it and random volumes. They also like to put the newer volumes in odd places in the front or on the end of an aisle...so you have to look out for that. (They also have some manga mixed in with the teen section..O_o)

I was shocked as hell though when I went to Wal-mart and found out that they were carrying Fruits Basket, Tsubasa, and something else. I know I order a lot of things from them online. (Fma dvds, artbooks, etc.) I just had no idea they were going to start carrying that stuff in the stores. (And hey Fruits basket for $5 is a lot cheaper than $9.99)
