Okay, so I went on a picture spree again today. And I finally managed those postcard scans I promised! =D

Overall, I scanned them really big (200 dpi, so they look kinda dotty, since they're not exactly HQ cards, but after some sizing down they should be fine. *nodnod* Better too big than too small, hmm?

And this is the side you write on, it's the same for all of them. Those boxes are for a Japanese-style address.

And now, I broke in my Edward teapot, and here's the pics I have to show. Huh... the pics in this section are really huge, I expected Photobucket to be meaner to them... I'll edit, but for now, it's dialup beware on this section. Okay, they're all fixed now. It should be dialup safe. If anything didn't load when you were looking before, try again, you may have caught it in the middle of deleting and reloading.

Note: In these pics, my counter looks really dirty and gross. Those're all coffee spots. I haven't bleached it in a while.

Step 1: Hot water! I just used my coffee maker, took out the filter and all the coffee-flavored parts, and jsut stuck the pot under the stream of water, like so:

I was surprised to find that Edward holds 3 cups. He only looked like 1 when I opened him up. (WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL AND CERAMIC HE BARELY HOLDS A CUP OF TEA?!?!)

Step 2: Tea! I'm using loose green tea leaves, not bags here, I couldn't tell you what kind it was because it's just in a foil bag that came out of the box. But here's a pic of the tea leaves in a little wire mesh thingy that goes in the pot. It barely fit, the opening is rather small. (WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SMALL HE'D FALL THROUGH THE HOLES IN A FILTER?!?!?!)

Step 3: Steep! Two minutes! A timer is good, but I couldn't find ours and so I just looked at the clock on the microwave. It ended up a little strong. The reason the lid doesn't quite fit is because it has a little nub that keeps the top on when you're pouring.

Step 4: Yay! You made tea! Pour and enjoy! The pot does a good job of keeping the tea enjoyably warm, despite how thin the ceramic seems. Ed doesn't seem too happy to be drank out of.

In the end: It's a pretty good tea set, by my standards anyhow, and if you want to get the maximum out of it, order 3 cups to go with it and you and your fangirl friends can have an Edward tea party or some such. But that could get expensive.

ETA:
Two related icons! Teapot!Ed and Teacup!Ed! Feel free to treat these as bases and all that, though they're not exactly 100x100, jsut to warn. They're more like 100x90.
