More AMV Pimpage
I made this one awhile back as a timing exersize more than anything else. But yanno, making things go BOOM to music is just plain fun.

There's alot of Ed-Abuse in this, but it's short.

FMA to the 1812 Overture (heavilly edited). It's about 1 1/2 minutes long.

Jump to YouTube, Baby!

On a similar note... Anyone got any Recs for tunes that fit kinda along the lines of this one? You know, fast, drum-heavy, and maybe more BOOMs?

I'm pondering doing "In the Hall of the Mountain King" (I have the techno cover of it), and maybe making it Hughes-centric. But I'd like to consider other sources of music, as well.

EDIT: Thanks for the suggestions! Now I have some really good classical music to play with.

First on the list will be the Overture from Carmen (thanks to fictionalizedme), which will probably be loaded down with more Ed-Abuse (I really love the guy, honest!) and Arrogant!Mustang, just because one part of that piece screams for it.

Then probably In the Hall of the Mountain King (with the talking edited out, if I can get it to work smoothly), which will be Hughes-centric. It just seems to fit him.

Blue Danube does indeed have alot of possibilities, but it's over 10 minutes long. I might have to just break it up into a series of AMVs. It's such a nice piece that it seems a shame to edit the hell out of it. We'll see what I come up with.

I like Symphony no 9. I'll have to contemplate how to use it though. No editing needed, it's nice and short.

EDIT AGIAN: Because several people asked, and there are probably a few who want it, but didn't ask: "In the Hall of the Mountain King" (techno)

I know a song that would go great with booming effects. (nice AMV by the way. XD)

If you look up Symphony no. 9 (Scherzo) on Windows media player, you should get the song I'm talking about. (although it already comes downloaded with the player for a lot of people.)

I reccommend the finale from the Ballet of Faust (I have it, if you need)

Also, The Damnation of Faust by Beriloz

Hungarian Dance by Brahms

Military Polonaise by Chopin

DEFINITELY New World Symphony by Dvorak. PLUS, it is so fitting...

Sabe Dance from "Gayne" by Khatuchaturian (I'm sure you'd recognized it once you heard it...)

Also Sprach Zarathustra (Also known as the 2001 theme) by Richard Strauss

Night On Bald Mountain!

and Danse Macabre by Saint Saens

If you want any of this music, or are curious or whatever, my email is EponymousKate@gmail.com and my IM is BotanFerryGirl
