Manga Write-ups done through current issue (57)
After way too much fighting with the rich text editor and the LJ-cuts (*insert Edward Elric-sized spaz attack of frustration here*) the manga write-ups are complete with the large images safely hidden behind cuts. Click on the issue title to view the write-up, but note that there are quite a few images associated with each one, just to warn you unfortunate folks stuck with dial up. Check out the introduction first if you have no idea what this project I'm talking about here is.

Comments highly encouraged (even stuff like "Is that supposed to be a joke? 'Cuz I just don't get it.") Just drop me a note if you looked at them, pretty please.

It's faster than reading or rereading the manga on-line. And there are jokes! Well, attempts at jokes, anyway.

I love on you and hand you interwebs and cookies...
These rock so hard. :)

Seriously, I'm writing a manga based fiction and it's SO NICE to get people caught up with the action who are "Anime Only".

Wishes you magically knew when exactly Elysia's birthday is in the Manga... as Bones seems to have some CONTINUITY issues. ;)

Yeah, I'm spazzing to see if I FORGOT to give the little Princess one in my fic.

Do you know off the top of your head the season? Anime it's winter, same as Edward's... but Manga? I'm so confused.

Possibly autumn, or late summer, because Elicia's birthday was all the way in Volume 4 and by Chapter 34, it's been a month since Hughes died. In the present manga chapters, it's "almost winter."

Geh, there goes my timeline...
Sigh, I have Havoc six months post injury and it's aproximately April, nooo... guess that doesn't wreck it.

Though this IS a good development as it will be getting action/intrigue heavy around late summer/early fall and a birthday party for the wee Princess would bring good fluff to the drahma and angst.

Thank you!

Oh, I really HOPE some anime-watchers drop by and get interested. Part of the inspiration for this was my failure to get the anime-watching housemate to read the manga because, "I don't like comics, I particularly don't like black and white comics, and I don't like having to read right-to-left." (**WAAAH!!**) I figure if I make it easier for people to catch up, they might just stay with it. Just maybe. I can hope, right?

No! (*gasp*) SERIOUSLY? (:rolls eyes:) I'm very fond of the anime, don't get me wrong, but really, all those gaffs rankle.

The only reference I can dig up is in the "Flame vs. Fullmetal" Gaiden, where it's Elysia's second birthday and the weather is quite nice. So anywhere from late spring to early autumn, but definitely not winter.

Thanks! Geh, damn the anime to heck! SNOW, there is SNOW on her "BIRTH" and Edward's 12th birthday. Was it an un-seasonably early Fall snow? (KEELS them.)

Autumn would fit "my" timeline nicely as it would put Jean about one year post injury, the military plot would be in full DRAHMA and the NEED for fluff would be there.

(Jean and Elysia BRING the cute in my fic. I just love writing that kid.)

You can always indulge yourself with a freak snowstorm if you really want one, it's a writer's prerogative :)

I'm speaking as a Bostonian, and we had about a half an inch of snow YESTERDAY. In APRIL. My daffodils must be so confused. (It didn't stick, but still!)
