she's basically on about to be top of him... then a very conviniant camera angle switch right at this moment.

followed by an imediate scene change.

i guess it's fairly ambiguous, and the general consensus theory is "she's reading his dreams" right? well she doesn't REALLY need to be sitting on top of him to do that, right?

haha i dunno. it's a mystery! thoughts?

You know, all she had to do was place her hand on some part of his body.. like, his arms.. o.O but NOOO..

though that though had never occured to me.. o.O

He does pass out.. he seems to drink a lot.
Bad for your body, kiddo. o____o
If he was in the US, he'd be arrested. XD

We had some german exchange students come not too long ago and one guy told me that the drinking limit there is 16. Lawl.

Seeing that in 1923 the U.S. had a Constitutional prohibition on the sale of alcohol no matter what your age was, yes he would have been arested >;^D

<3 *Likes you for not being 'Pro!Drinking'*

That's right. Hell, I was surprised to notice that too, since he was so -against- drinking in the anime. And it wasn't just 'because of his age' that he refused I imagine. We all know kids drink if they're curious or want to when older. Most -don't- abstain for the second they're legal.

Suppose he's -so- depressed he's turned to that a smidgeon.
Plus, I imagine they used alcohol alot more than we do. In Europe it's not taboo for kids to drink or for liquors to be used to 'calm' someone or aid with treating illnesses/aches.

Still! *Doesn't like 'Drunk!Edo'*

Wow. This whole -thread- is full of random people finding similar thoughts and glomping each other.

Feel the fandom love. *Cheers*
