Art theft Alert

Marry your fave character and Gallery

It doesn't seem like a place where the good artists roam... Yet, I spotted the ToukaKoukan Chibi cast, some Japanese fanart, the FMA-Kitties, lot of icons, colorbars, photomanips, wallpapers and stolen fanart here. Violated artists include

cofie,

ponderosa121, and

hime1999; Haruka Sena; YanaGoya and Maeva from DA along with various others. Check the place.

You know, I looked through all 160 pages of the gallery and couldn't find any of Hime's art. :/

Look closer. It's the FMA/Peter Pan piece. It's posted twice actually.

They've stolen hundreds of icons, too. According to circe67, one of her icons is married to twelve of these morons.

It's nothing wrong with being young, enthusiastic, fangirly and a complete idiot but for Chrissake, once you join a community, the rules apply! I know I sound violent but when I see places like this, I want to burn them down digitally.

They've done it in other fandoms too. I checked out Avatar just because I belong to the comm for it on here and right off the bat I recognized two pieces there in the gallery. I've contacted the artists and I've left comments that the pieces were stolen. Just because a person says "Not My Work" doesn't give them the right to use it for the galleries there without permission. I hate that there's no way to let the people that run that place it's even stolen.

Just as an update, I Noted the site owner and commented on the image that it was stolen and I wanted it removed (I also PMed the user who posted it and got a charming "FUCK YOU!" back); I just checked and it seems to be gone... It's not my place to ask for other people's art to be removed, though, but it seems there may be hope for getting things removed.
