I was wondering....
One. Is a beta for a story kinda like an editor? If not, then can someone please explain what exactly a beta does?
Two. Depending on the answer to my first question, is there anyone who's willing to beta my work for my
Just someone that can help me with them, basically.
I'm looking for someone that can tell me 1) if the story's any good, 2) what can be done to improve it (on the grammar and English front, not the 'OMGEdshouldmakeoutwithWinryHERE' front.) and 3) how IC or OOC the characters are.
First and foremost, I have my FMA stories. I assume everyone in this community knows the characters well enough to help.
Secondly, I'm working on an Inu-Yasha/Wolf's Rain crossover. (There's a reason behind the crossover, I swear.)
and for a third series of fics, I was debating Harry Potter or Dragon Lance.
In order to help with accurate character depiction, you have to know the story the fic is based off of...
Anyone willing to help with any or all of these fics would be awesome.
[Edit: Warning - Some of the fics were ideas from the random FMA generator. Therefore, include doubtful pairing (I didn't have to agree with the pairing to try to write it; after all, that's the challenge, right? Some include NC-17 content. However, all 12daysofficmas fics so far have proven to be G rated.]
