Fullmetal Alchemist Shoes, You Say?

Check them out for yourself.

Honestly, I saw two designs for the shoes and I wasn't too partial of this one. I thought it was just too much red. Now, looking at the actual show and not just a drawn design, I think I like them.

Am I going to shell out fifty bucks for me?

Not a chance.

But take a look. ^^

How did you learn to make the outfits? Do you also do all of them by yourself?

I started out by sewing dinkery little things like pillows on the sewing machine in 4th and 5th grade, then slowly worked my way up to boxers and simple shirt thingies in 7th grade, all under the assistance of my dad (mum can't sew if her life depended on it XD), and then through that stupid home ec class that my Jr High had- I was the only one who knew how to sew... o_O. I've slowly weaned myself off of patterns, which is how I'm able to do costumes with more ease- I ♥ being creative!

And with the exeption of the shoulder armour stuff on the Dom outfit (and even then, I did all of the framing of foam and endless sanding and spraypainting), I've done everything myself. ^_^ 'Tis SO much fun! :D
