Poll #569390 Community Vote: In-Jokes

Should in-joke posts be considered on or off topic?

On-topic. I want to be able to post/read topics like this on the community.
Off-topic. I don't care to post/read topics like this on the community.
I do not feel strongly about the issue either way.
Other (please explain in comments)

EDIT: I just realized I forgot to say how we're defining in-jokes here. The definition we're going by is "a reference to the FMA fandom that does not directly include anything from the canon."

Yeah, as said above, Moofy is anime Wrath. That and names like Bruce, David, Cheryl, and Hoju came into existance because there either wasn't a name for the character, or people didn't know of the name at the time. And incidently, many of them have spread well beyond fm_alchemist now- I've heard the Adult Swim forums now make regular use of the Bruce/David/Cheryl set of names, for example.

Really, those names are less in-jokes and more just a natural part of the fandom. Character doesn't have a name but we want to discuss him? Give him a nickname! And they stuck. *shrugs*
