hi all. new here. noticed something... i'm only up to ep 23 of the anime and none of the manga really... so...

sorry if the following is repetetive. i just joined. hi.

There was an alchemist in 15th-16th century (1493-1541) Germany [IN REAL LIFE] who went by 'Paracelsus' who's real name was Philippus Aureolus but he also went by Theophrastus Bombastus Von Hohenheim. This guy claimed to have created tiny artificial humans called Homunculus... No shit.

here's a quote i dug up... "after a short time, the homunculus was known to turn on it's creater and run away. The recipe consisted of a bag of bones, sperm, skin fragments and hair from any animal you wanted it to be a hybrid of. This was to be laid in the ground surrounded by horse manure for forty days, at which point the embryo would form. This supposed beast relied upon the theories of spontaneous generation."

have fun.

I think that's totally frickin neato. I haven't read the manga yet, but i am up to date with the anime and i know that envy said something about ed and al sharing 'his' blood or something... and that that 'he' was their creator... i think. so. yeah. neat.

Yea, many people have dug up this info and speculated. I'm pretty sure what we're all thinking is going to be how the story will play out. I mean come on, mysteriously disappeared father? must be who Envy's talking about. I think all the research done by curious fans is totally spoiling it, no one will *gasp* once they reveal everything >_<. But it's really cool to read what someone discovers and then think "oh yeahhhh, I see now" ^_^. I don't think these japanese producers expected us crazy english-speaking fans to actually go out and do all that research >_<. But still, I hope they make the ending really surprising. Watch the second season be about Ed trying to find his father or something.
