Help please??
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could direct me in the direction of the sheet music for Kaichou? [the orchestral intstrumental for Dante's waltz? The fast one?] Because, I totally want my school orchestra to learn it, because it would be way cool to play it =D

If you know of any more sheet music for anything for an orchestra, I would love you to death =3

<33

Delete if this is not appropriate. I'm paranoid about the rules.

zomg wakare no kyoku is such a wonderful piano solo as well. i can't find it. anywhere. this is frustrating.

"Wakare no Kyoku" is actually Fredric Chopin's "Etude for piano No.11 in E flat major," so if you can fine the sheet music for that, you have "Wakare no Kyoku." XDDDDDDDDDD

...you are so resourceful and that makes me love you.

That looks like it's Etude No.11 (Allegretto) not Etude No.3 which is the one I believe you're looking for. (I don't have the 3rd OST and I seem to recall only one of Chopin's pieces was played in the series)

*Allegretto means super-fast in music-lingo/italian :)

It's there and this is the .pdf file (For Etude No. 3)
http://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/compositions_b/et10_3.pdf

If that doesn't work look under Etudes and click on Etude, Op.10, No.3.

If you want a midi there's a site I posted a link to earlier here and is' here:
http://www.hamienet.com/cat9637.html
Look for Etude No. 3 in E Major (Tristesse), Opus 10 No.3, Lento, ma non troppo. Click on the 1 availible under the MIDI column and click details and it'll lead you to a page where you can download the midi file. Hope that helps. =)

Hooray!

O.o It looks more complicated than it sounds. And the midi sounds faster than what was played on FMA? But I can fix that :D

Gheheahehaha I'M EXCITED

...and I can't qualm my excitedness because it's one in the morning and playing the piano at one in the morning will probably get my butt kicked by the family members. >.>

If you're talking about the song in episode 51 (During the Gate scene) then that was "Étude in E Major 'Tristesse' (op10 No3.)" (By Chopin of course XD). o.O;

No. 11 (the one I have) is Allegretto (super fast) and isn't what was played in that ep

I want to try and get my orchestra director to let us play a strings instrumental of something....if only they published a full score of everything....;.;

potato_thiefpotato_thief on August 15th, 2005 12:27 am (UTC)
I mean, they're just so pretty...like Bratja or Heart of Steel or something that's all strings would be so cool.

;.;

My orchestra teacher would probably let us play some of that music, but I just dont have the sheet music for it ;_;

Ive been trying to find the sheet music to Brajta because I'd love to play that as a solo <33
Lianaaneko_hosokoawa on August 14th, 2005 11:56 pm (UTC)
o_O that would be so cool..

Darnit they need to put out the sheet music for this stuff vv;;
ivarice on August 15th, 2005 12:04 am (UTC)

I have Fake Book-style (as in the melody is written out only for the "right hand" on piano and everytime the chords change, there is a notation over the staff) sheet music for Bratja. It would suit your purposes if you can read Fake Book-style music (and are good at improv) or play a wind or string instrument. Would you like it?
Lianaaneko_hosokoawa on August 15th, 2005 12:06 am (UTC)
=O If you would please?? ^_^ Thank you so much!!
ivarice on August 15th, 2005 12:09 am (UTC)

Sure~

Here is page one and here is page two. I believe these are scans of the sheet music from the CD booklets for one of the OSTs. And someone from this community originally posted these - but I can't remember who... >

Is that known as Kyoudai/track 2 from OST 3 by any chance? Or what OST is Bratja on? Sorry if I sound like a complete fool, I keep getting some of the tracks mixed up and such.
ivarice on August 15th, 2005 02:13 am (UTC)

It's track #32 on OST1. I'm not sure if it's included on any of the other OSTs.

Sorry~
Loo Looabstractication on August 15th, 2005 02:15 am (UTC)
Gah! I knew it sounded familiar. Thank you very much. I like that track. I'm sure it would also help if I understood at least a little Japanese. -.- It's not included on any others but the melody does reappear.
Kyrareikah on August 15th, 2005 09:58 pm (UTC)
It's not in Japanese - Bratja is in Russian. I could dig a translation up for you, if you like.
potato_thiefpotato_thief on August 15th, 2005 02:16 am (UTC)
yes, it's kyoudai on OST 3, and the last one on OST 1, and it's somewhere on OST 2...I just don't know where...
Btw, Kyoudai and Bratja both transalte to 'Brothers', if you didn't know...
Loo Looabstractication on August 15th, 2005 02:22 am (UTC)
I think on OST 2 it's Kodoku, but a slower piano version.

I managed to figure out Bratja, but thank you. >.>
potato_thiefpotato_thief on August 15th, 2005 02:45 am (UTC)
Yeah, Kodoku is really pretty...@.@ ::listens to them on repeat::
momma_gemmomma_gem on August 15th, 2005 03:55 am (UTC)
It's from OST 3. It was a "First Press Extra Item" included along with the sticker of Roy. I scanned and posted them, but am too tired to hunt up the reference right now. Thank you for passing it on!!
