Another installment of the Sins a la two-tone! I think Greed is my favorite of the homunculi, but he doesn't seem as simple to draw as the others. So I totally lamed out and did him third instead of first.

Lust and Envy (and Greed, incidentally) are hanging out 'round my devART account if you haven't seen them. If you care. >_> La la la!

Thanks!

I kinda wish I hadn't copped out and gone for the "Arakawa" look, even though it's totally her character. I'll probably try to get simplified again if I do any more sins.

See, I wouldn't worry - for Greed, it WORKS. (I get the impression Greed's a fave of hers anyway).

Each style you've done has had a different feel:
Lust has an odd Bettie Page/Film Noir/Pulp heroine feel. She feels like she came off of some 1940's magazine with a name like "Homonculi Crime Drama"

Envy's got a shifty/pointy action-anime type fee, sort of like he's ready to explode into speed lines and action.

Greed's got a whimsical, "yeah, I'm cool, I know it" feel to him, and just happens to fit Arakawa's style. Again my take is that Greed is such an individual, he fits her style anyway (and yes, Greed is my fave sin).

So, don't worry. Keep drawing! I love what you're doing and love how each Sin is coming out with a different feel and on the different colors. Keep at it. You've got a real talent here.

And when you're done, giving the non-Sin cast a color/style take would be incredibly cool too.

I'm sorry I'm so late on replying, but wow. I've never had anyone analyze my art like that, and it really brightened up my morning. Thanks!

Oh, NP. Just helping out!

Keep running with this and see what happens with your styles and interpretations. It could also prove educational in learning more about your own abilities.

I also have some suggested interpretations if you're curious.
