More Info on the [Adult Swim] Run
I don't know if anyone else has heard this yet. It hasn't been OFFICIALLY announced, but one of FUNi's representatives, Lance Heiskell, said this just recently in a FUNi talkback thread concerning the OP/ED themes for the Adult Swim run of the series.

We're going to change up the opening halfway around the second season on [adult swim]. Don't want to say what opening just yet.

I'm thinking that's a good sign that it'll be Rewrite, eh? =)

I think they said something about rewriting the opening.

*shrug* >>;;

Yea probably, because UNDO is pretty long with not too much action. And the fact that they didn't play UNDO for ep. 26, 27, or 28 means they're just going to skip straight to Rewrite, which is shorter then Undo, and has "action" <.<

ignore my babbling...

It hopefully will be Rewrite. That would be fun, but he could also be reffering to Al's opening monolauge, which changes around ep 45 ish...

Ohmanz. Rewrite would make me so increadably happy.

Yay, Rewrite! *squeal* ♥

Maybe they decided to change it to go along with the other opening monologue.

I would love if they did that. Rewrite is my favorite opening, and, let's face it, the visuals in Ready Steady Go fail to match the series at that point (for one thing, a certain character who died in episode 25 is prominently featured).

Not just the visuals, but the song itself totally doesn't match the series at that point. Especially the final episode. o_O RSG's basically a hopeful, optimistic song. Rewrite's basically pessimistic and it seems all hope is lost.
