When your fandoms randomly cross, you know it's going to be a very bad day...
Especially if they're Fullmetal Alchemist and Mystery Science Theater 3000. I suppose a slight crack warning is in order.

A while back, my friend and I were watching an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 in my dorm room. The episode featured a Mexican Christmas movie and I swear, only we could find Fullmetal Alchemist parallels in a Mexican Christmas movie.

These screencaps were going to end up as photo edits, but right now I don't have the time or effort to do that. So, just enjoy this small peek at Roy wish fulfillment and a slightly nasty jab at a certain female character. No harm intended, but you may want a fire extinguisher...

Okay, Roy only dreams of doing this to Hughes. It's a little hard to tell because of the awful quality of the film, but there's fire shooting through that phone handset. The poor man's uniform either makes this more funny or disturbing, depending on how you look at it.

I guess she's a real bitch now. Dante must have had slim pickings for a new body to attach her soul to. And yes, that IS Santa Claus walking in the yard and no, there's no way I can explain that without causing serious brain damage.

Do you still remember the forklift song from Fugitive Alien and how I was going to sing it during a major scene in episode 50? He tried to kill me with a forklift! Ole!

*snickers* Yeah, too bad we had to miss out on that! ...you know, we have way too much time on our hands.

True, that. I can't wait until the fall. We have to watch all my MST3K stuff in one sememster before I leave, but I'm getting a single room. Smuggling you in for an evening should be easier than it would be with a roommate.

LOL OMG, that is a LOT of MST3K

BWHAHAHAAA!! Oh, dear God, I love this. I got into anime via MST3K fandom -- reading fan MSTings of Sailor Moon fanfics inspired me to check out the actual series, and one anime led to another.

I remember being dragged to a kiddy matinee of that godawful Mexican Santa Claus movie when I was a very, very small child. It *traumatized* me.

Oh gosh... memories!

I fricken WISH that my (ex-)boyfriend back in Highschool would've recorded more episodes of MST3K from the Sci Fi chanel for me to watch... Puma Man cannot be the movie that's EXTREMELY hilarious... I swear that Mexican Christmas Movie should be way up there with Puma Man!

T_T

Gah! I still need to see Puma Man. Whenever I find a torrent of it, it's always dead.

Speaking of which, if you're looking for MST3K episodes and can do torrents, I'll just quietly nudge you in this direction. Note that the torrents are very slow and the files are fairly massive, about 700 mb. It can take over a day to get an episode. It's well worth the wait, though, since the current DVD releases only cover a small faction of the series.

I'm pretty sure Netflix carries some of the episodes from the Rhino DVD releases. I don't use it myself, but I've seen people mention it in MST3K communities.

MUAHAHA! *dies* Crack! This seems even better (or worse) than 'Prince of Space'.

I really, really need to see this. D:
