Just your typical hamlet scene... GONE HORRIBLY AWRY!
Well, since everyone else was showing off their sexy FMA fanart, and I've had this piece lying around for a while, I figured I'd scan it in and show you guys, to see how many people I manage to scar and/or make hate me!

to be... or not to be?

Shakespeare geek speaking up, but that should be "Alas, poor York! I knew him well, Horatio." The "To be or not to be" speech didn't use a skull.

But it's a cute pic ^.^ And I thought it was Al's head at first.

Oh, really? I never knew. I shall have to update the picture when I get a chance - that line sounds cooler, anyways.

Yeah, that was my thought. Poor Yorick indeed. But the mental image of that guy as a court jester is just too peculiar.

*dies laughing* William would have appreciated it.

Literary Geek No. 2, checking in. The line in question does not have "well" in it.

"Alas, poor Yorik! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy" (Act 5, Scene 1, ln 185 in the Signet Classic edition).

Which, in a skewed way, seems very appropriate to those two...

*sighs* I hate not being able to edit comments. Yorick is spelled with a c before the k.

Meh ^^;; I'm not the Hamlet buff in the family. Knew something was wrong with it, just didn't feel like checking.

congratulations. you've just succeeded in intimidating me with your mad knolwedge of William's work. though, admittedly, all my knowledge of the many plays he wrote comes from either julius caesar, romeo and juliet, the little bits of hamlet you see here and there on TV and stuff, a school production of midsummer night's dream, and Sandman by Neil Gaiman.

...yeah. I'm sure I'll read those plays... eventually. >.>

Oh God, I am doing one like this too! Well...photoshopped editing anyways. Halfway done with it too. So...yeah. If you see a post with a photoshopped Ed with a skull...I didn't copy you. Good job. XDD;

Hey, by the time I had the idea, a good two thirds of the community probably had it. so I'm not surprised othrs are doing/have done similar things.
