-ALPHONSE IN A NAZI (Navy) UNIFORM. Before you get your panties in a twist, here's the thing. Yes, I have taken WWII classes, yes, I have read the books, yes, I know that the Nazis were the enemies of the Allies in WWII, and yes, I know that they killed many, many innocent men, women, and children. I know all of that, and NO I do not support what they have done, or whatever the Neo-Nazis are doing. Most of all, I am NOT anti-semitic or anything of the sort, I do not agree to hate-crime and all that stuff.
So why a Nazi uniform? ...can I just say that I like the look? And that this is for a certain bunny which I have a history major to look over for me? I have a uniform fetish and a uniform picture index that begs to be abused.
That said, here's a Scar/Al pic where I entertain a bunny that I have been incubating for the past...however long.
After a long conversation where both sides just spoke in languages neither side understood, the boy looked up and dared to let the tips of his fingers brush against a few wisps of white hair. He stared up at those red eyes and reached his hand deeper, going to the root of the bangs and brushing them away so that he can touch the scar there. His fingers didn't just brush against the slightly rised flesh there; no, by the meticulous nature of the Germans, he let his fingers examine the old wound. He ran over the skin that was smoother than what anyone was born with, poked at places where it sank in a bit due to the way the wound was made, and then finally stopped his fingers at where the discoloured flesh puckered from the dark skin.
"Narbe," the boy whispered. Then, in a show of English (though rather broken) that he'd never displayed before, he repeated the word. "Scar..."
The man wanted to tell him that the wound wasn't caused by the war, that the boy didn't have to worry about whether or not it was one of his comrades who gave it to him. He wanted to tell the boy that it was actually made by the people whom he was fighting alongside with now, he wanted to tell him all that.
But due to the language barrier, he couldn't even tell Alphonse that the name everyone had been calling him, "John," wasn't even his real name.
The more I draw these two, the bigger Scar's hands get.
Next, Roy in a uniform. Same disclaimer is used here as applied above.
Drawn for my friend Kate, who helped pay for half of the uniform picture index. Roy is in a tank driver's uniform...which doesn't make much sense for his rank, since the tank drivers are usually of very low rank in the army while Roy is Colonel (his badge and everything are drawn to be Colonel in ranking). Oh well...it just looks sexy...and I like the hat.
Next, Random Scar/Al pics.
Drew this while listening to "Always" by Saliva. They look a bit weird, especially Scar, but I liked the way Al's clothing flows.
"...I do not burn quickly enough."
I love that line when it comes to angst-ridden, religious semes like Scar. Sorry.
And finally, Papa and Hoju (explanation of who that is under the cut, but he is a walking, talking SPOILER for end of the series)
(Hoju is the fandom name ((short for Hoenheim Junior)) for the true form of Envy, who is the son of Hoenheim.)
Just doodled while waiting in line for the Mucha exhibit in Shinjuku.
