Because everyone is entitled to their own opinions:

1) Elysia was too old... she sounded 10, possibly 12.

2) I hated Al's out-of-character angry teenager-ing emotional constipation, (or as everyone else summed it up as angst).

3) I still can't manage to get some emotional reaction from the dub. That last "Al!" scream was a very good, solid attempt at emotion.... but even though I will awknowledge it was a heart-wrencher, it wont wrench my heart. Vic, I'm sorry bud but to this fan, you'll still never meet my expectations.

1) The Milk scene
2) Hahahaha, Winry fessed up ^^
3) Armstrong shows up and instantly whips out the purple sparkle crack ^^

This episode does a VERY good job building up Hughes' Awesome Points.... *coughtwoepisodesleftcough*

My overall reaction:

Al's crappy angsting killed this episode for me... The Hughes parts, and funny bits do their best to balance Mr. Poopy (Al) Pant's angry "I hate you shut up"-ing...

Um.....wow.....you really like saying bad things about the dub, don't you? Just about every one of your posts in this discussion has bashed it in some way........ :/

Personally, I don't know where you get that "Elysia sounds 10" thing. Yes, she does sound a LITTLE too old, but I didn't think it was that off. I thought she sounded more like a 6-year-old.

And honestly, there's TWO lines where Al really seems like an angry, whiny jerk. Only TWO. "Just drink the stupid milk..." and "Shut up.....I didn't ask to be this way.." You people really just need to calm down - you shouldn't let a couple of lines and a little inflection of tone ruin an episode for you. Plus, in the manga, Al also acted like an angry, whiny jerk when he accuses Ed of having given him fake memories, so what's the problem if he just shows those emotions a little earlier?

Aaron angsting sounded so convincing. It actually scared me, because I could actually -feel- the mood Al was in. That's never happened before. *_*

Elysia's was so cute!!

Y'know what? When Hughes said "I GOT GOOD NEWS!" on the phone, I actually thought he'll say, "I saved more money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!"

Elysia is <3. :DDDD

I can totally see him saying that. XD

I haven't been watching FMA lately so I was incredibly lost with why Al was all angsty ;_; but other than that I loved it.

Hughes x Mustang's phone conversation was entertaining heh XD.
I love those two to pieces ^.^.

I'm sorry, but I was laughing my head off at the end. Al's english voice made me think of...think of...I don't know. XD I liked his monosyllabic answers though. But seriously...it was just so...WANKY. XDDD I can't remember if I thought that watching the sub, but jeex.

I thought it was pretty good. But I didn't like how they made Al so angsty. In the sub, he was very polite still, as if lost in thought. They dub was way to harsh sounding and just didn't fit with how Al should be.

Overall good, but that one little aspect threw my opinion of it a bit.
