Am I the only one that's seeing those bandwidth exceeded bars? Because they went up late last night and they're still there this morning.

Do we need a better pic host than Photobucket?

I see them too. Might be a good idea to get a Domain and host em from there. also make a site. that probably work.

Yeahhhh, this community is going to need way more bandwidth than Photobucket hands out. ^^; Several people on here have their own domains, so I'd probably inquire with them.

If hosting the pics via the LJ photo hosting for paid members would work, I'd be willing to give some of my space to host them. As I'm currently only using .25 MB of the 100MB we're given, I very likely won't miss the space I give up. After a quick browse, I see also that there is currently no bandwidth limit on the LJ hosting, so I don't think that would be a problem.

That said, I'm out!

Ditto for above. I have no use for this empty space. And I'm not talking about my brain, either. :P

Yeah, I wouldn't mind hosting the images either if the LJ photo hosting thing doesn't work. I have some webspace and unlimited (I think - it's never been a problem anyway) bandwith (it comes with my comcast email and stuff.)

The LJ related thing is good. But for people that don't have the space to offer photobucket is the only image hosting place I've seen where they want you to link to your pictures and give you the proper codes to do so. People with free websites like Geocities and the like may not be able to directly link to .jpegs and may not be able to know how to change things over to a .txt file, the only way it will let you link images directly in to a post like for icons. What we need are good free image hosting sites that let you keep up pics forever and allow you to directly link the image inside a post like photobucket does.

I know snapfish is one such place to host images. However, the pics don't stay on there for very long and I'm not certain if you can directly link an image into a post instead of putting up a link that leads you to a picture on their site.
