Barking at the wind

Title: Crossing the Divide
Author: evil_little_dog
Recipient: bloody_winged
Rating: Gen
Characters/Pairings: Mei Chang, Xiao Mei, some O.C.’s
Summary: It’s her duty as princess to protect the Chang clan. Despite just how hard that might be.
Notes: Written for the prompt: Mei Chang and Xiao Mei: The things that don't kill us will make us stronger. Also, Zufu and Waipou are terms for ‘grandfather’ and ‘grandmother’, respectively. Thanks, as always, to cornerofmadness for her help in making this a better story.
Warnings: Present tense.
Disclaimer: Arakawa totally owns all.

The dignity of the Chang clan must be preserved, particularly by its princess, and Mei Chang resolved herself to remember it.

Crossposted. Fake cut will take you to my LJ.

The Christmas Inn!  It's just over the Tennessee border on I-75 coming from Kentucky, right next door to a cool fireworks stand that had a dragon in the parking lot. I dunno who this Thacker person is, but I sure hope the Madame is doing well for herself these days.

If my mom hadn't been with me, I might've stopped in the lobby to see what it looked like inside.

I don't know when their wedding was, but according to Laura Bailey's facebook page they married sometime after the 19th and there was a picture of her in her wedding dress (she looked so lovely!)

Just sharing for those who were interested!
