delectable tea, or deadly poison?

Remember last year's FMA Ladyfest that bookelfe and I ran? If you need a memory jog or weren't around for it, you can check out fma_ladyfest for reference and last year's fics and art! (Which I recommend doing anyway, because we got some really cool stuff there. This fandom is awesome.)

Anyway, it was so much fun that we're thinking of doing a repeat. Which is where you come in, if you're interested! Check out this poll over at the comm for more details and to let us know what you think about another FMA Ladyfest.

Title: Teamwork
Author: Seaweed_FMA
Artist:
Genre: Drama, a little Humor
Rating: PG-13 for some violence and blood
Word Count 15,709
Characters / Pairings: Mustang, Hawkeye, Havoc, Breda. Fuery, Falman, Maes, Gracia, and some minor OCs. Maes /Gracia and some Roy/Riza UST.
Warnings: More Manga/Brotherhood based. Some violence, no real spoilers, set pre-series. The Cow owns the characters, not me.
Summary : When Mustang first received his team, they weren't always such a close knit group. It took a potentially tragic event to bring them all together.

The incessant click-clack of the train wheels on the metal tracks were enough to either lull him to sleep, or drive him crazy- he wasn't sure which.

This was done for the FMA_Fic_Contest. I was really proud of this and it actually won second place. I thought it was a neat use of the word "flush" as the prompt.

Written for the 2011 FMA Big Bang Challenge!
Title: Estvarya
Author: mfelizandy
Genre: Drama
Rating: PG-13

Word Count: 22,000+
Pairing/Characters: Roy Mustang, Scar. No pairings.

Warnings: Probably some non-explicit nudity at some point or another--Ishbalan mores on nudity don't line up perfectly with western ideas. Likely to be some supporting-OC death. Lots of culture-building. Mild language and some violence.

Summary: Post-manga AU. Roy Mustang can't bear to use Dr. Marcoh's Philosopher's Stone, and Jean Havoc won't take it unless Roy does. They don't dare leave the Stone unused, so they present the Stone to Scar, who's been recuperating from the events of the Promised Day at the Armstrong estate. Scar decides to take the Stone to the Ishbalan Elders--and Roy goes with him as an emissary of Amestris. Instead of going into southern Ishbal, however, Scar takes Roy north and east, to the ruined city of Xerxes. Heartache, frustration and some threats to Roy's life ensue while he tries to negotiate an end to the fighting and some form of reparations, as well as delivering the Stone full of Ishbalan dead to the Elders. Meanwhile, Scar is facing the consequences of his own past. He was once a warrior-priest, bound by an oath made before his God and his people. Breaking that oath to go on his solitary rampage of vengeance carries a stiff penalty. Somehow, two of the least likely messengers Ishvarra could have picked must find a way to not only work together but also to save both their people and themselves.
