Author's Notes: (Written for week 100: "canon pairings" over at fma_fic_contest) This is, quite literally, based on an exam question I recently came across. Q: When does grief work end? – A: When the person grieving can think of/be reminded of the deceased without suffering any physical manifestations of grief (tears, stomach pains, etc.). Grief is nasty and painful and often debilitating, and it's unfortunately something we all go through at some point. ):
