Just wanted to ask if someone else here is going to the FMA event on the 26th. I'm going to the first showing, and was wondering if someone would like to meet up. (That and Comiket -> Someone here who'll be able to go there too?)

So... watching a little bit of Matrix Reloaded with my brother the other day, one scene in particular I couldn't help replaying the entire sequence in my mind, but with characters from FMA instead of the Matrix characters. Couldn't get it out of my head at all, so I put it on paper instead. This is the result, badart and all:

Page 2
Page 3

...I won't post a whole ranting commentary here, because I kinda already did that in my comments for the images... >_>

EDIT: just to let people know, aside from a cameo or two of characters that don't show up for a few eps, the links are completely spoiler-free. Unless maybe you haven't seen Matrix Reloaded, then it might be a very minor spoiler for a scene in that... >_>

Most of you know about the idea for a chatroom that I had back when FMA first started airing on Cartoon Network. It was to be a place to meet when FMA aired on Saturdays and Thursdays so we could all watch and see the episodes togehter, and more importantly to react to the dub in general. The chat became even more successful with members of the English cast were brought into the room.

For those who DON'T know, the chatroom is accessible through AIM (and thus AOL), by inviting your own screen name into chat, and by being sure to name the room "FMAdub."

With more and more fans coming to FMA and to this community, that means more people that might want to come to chat. It IS a public chat room after all.

That said, I now come to the point of this post: the "smut" that occurs in the chatroom.

And I get more in depth about it all...Collapse )

Thankyou for listening, and sorry for taking this to the community--it was the only way I knew of to get this message to those who needed to hear it.

PS: My mood is cranky cuz my cat walked on the keyboard, deleted the post I originally typed up. BAD KITTY!

Now to make up for my cranky sounding post, I bring some photo fun!

Note: headband worn in pictures is not the headband that goes with the cosplay. My Envy headband was still drying from shirt paint, and I was impatient (and freezing cold), so I didn't wait for it to dry before taking pictures.

Have a preview:

so many pictures with so many attempts at witty captions!Collapse )

Not having someone to take pictures for me sucks, but having a camera without a timer would suck even more...

For the few pictures I didn't share, go here:

Ok, I'm looking to cosplay as Ed. I'm determined to create my own metal arm. Any idea what type of metal I should use? Has anyone here tried creating an arm?
Also, if I do give up, can anyone tell me the japanese site where I can order one. I recall seeing one.

Just a head's up, guys.

I made a Greed t-shirt! Looksie: [link]

The image for the stencil came from readmanga.com. The "Me, My, Mine" I got from a Greed LJ icon I saw a while ago. So, if the person who made that icon is reading this, I thank thee greatly.

Hiya, real name's Robert, but my nickname is Eternally Lost Zeppo, so most folks just call me Zeppo. ^_^

Anyway, I've been a fan of FMA since it was released on fansubs, and have seen all 51 episodes.

I'm a fanfic writer, though I've yet to get anything finished, and I'm also a TV Ops Graduate, so I'm looking to start doing some Anime Music Videos in the near future, for fun as much as to brush up on my editing skills.

Only got one or two ideas for FMA AMVs at the moment, and don't think they're very good ones, so I'm probably not gonna be doing them anytime soon, but if anyone knows where I can get some good RAWs of FMA, let me know.
Coz if I use my fansubs I'll have to cut out the subtitles, which could be a pain. :-S

I'm also a big fan of soundtrack music, and I'm hoping to get the FMA OST 2 CD with my Christmas money. My fave FMA openings are Rewrite and Undo, and my fave ending themes are Tobira No Mukou He and Unerasable Sin, though I love all the others too.

Anyway, that's all I can think of mentioning about myself, anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. ^_^

Dunno if this has been posted before, but it was just too damn cute not to share!

Might be spoiler...Collapse )

Okay, I know it's been posted before (you can stop telling me, now ^_~). I figure I'll leave it up for those who haven't seen it. I feel stupid, but whatever. C'est la vie, right? ^_~

Got bored in Chemistry class today, so I drew the Flamel sigil on my hand.

clickyCollapse )

Also took some pics of a cool FMA pencil tin I got from Wizzywig's. ^__^ It's nice and big and perfect to put any kind of pencil/marker/pen/writing utensil in. Nine inches long, and it has a tray that comes out. Very nifteh. :D Put up links below so less of my bandwidth is eaten T3T

Ahh, what the hell am I doing? I should be studying for this thermodynamics test our sensei decided to chuck at us the day before Winter break. T^T (Yes, the winter break starts on the 24th and ends January 2nd-ish this year, because the school admins decided to be asshats and give us less time off. DAMN THEM! ><; *shakes fist*)

Oh well. I get in early tomorrow, so I can work on it then. Off to bed to read Battle Royale now~ <3

Edit いち ばん: Since quite a lot of people expressed interest, the site you can get the pencil case at is http://www.wizzywig.com/ for 9 USD plus shipping and handling. Or, you could just drive to Ann Arbor, Michigan like my friend and I did and get it there. XD

Since I put niwa_scans up to the dare, and she fulfilled it, I guess it is now my place to pimp it (dare upon myself).

We (or should I say, she...) have started a new community...it is called hojuen, and supports just that pairing in the community name!

What is it? It's a product of savage and crack-headed fangirling You'll have to go and check it out to see.

And just so that this isn't just a pimping post, here's a piece of oekaki.
