Here's the second of my series of "nosebleed" pics. This time, this one isn't coloured (yet), but I will definitely get around to colouring it once I have time (which isn't probably in the near future^^;)

As I have said before, these pics are drawn because I "don't think that all fights are pretty, and all wounds are pretty. People seem to have this concept that no one in anime should get mutilated very horribly if they're a main character, or if they're pretty. There's also this idea that main characters/pretty characters do not get wounded on the face too much unless it's a "pretty wound" where it's but a scratch. Bishounen never get nosebleeds, much less completely battered in a fight. When a character dies, they always look like they're sleeping."

As usual, I "don't buy that" because I love "pure, raw, unadulterated suffering."

But due to the subject matter of this pic, as well as the subject being a well-loved character, I will have to give great warnings about it.

WARNING: GROTESQUE PICTURE UP AHEAD, SPOILERS FOR EP.25!!!!

My portfolio is due today so i was doing artwork pretty much all morning (COLD!)
Anyways...what does this have to do with FMA? One of the required works was an "imaginary landscape". I had not done this one yet so I quickly searched for inspiration. Granted, it was done in 40 minutes so it looks meh. =P

that's my couch.

Oh, and yeah, I colored the flag with Hughes' main colors of pink, purple and blue. I thought it looked neat. Everything in the picture is done in pastels or with charcoal and graphite. =P

Has anyone ever seen that picture with every character from Fullmetal Alchemist in it, with their names written above their heads? I've been looking for that picture for about a week now.

Oh and yeah i'm new to this LJ community, but I doubt this is the time nor place to be putting a newbie post.

Title: I Might Be Wrong (Part I)
Fandom: Fullmetal Alchemist
Pairing: Roy/Hughes
Spoilers: through 51
Summary: Roy hasn't learned from other people's mistakes
Previous Parts: Prologue
Notes: How many ways can I sing tatooine's praises? Not enough, I tell you. Anyway, this might be the most anyone's getting for a while, as I am feeling the writer's block. Feedback always helps me write faster. Just saying.

Salut all! I've never posted anything of real value and I'm the lurker of the century . . . however I thought I would share an exercise I'm fond of. It's a descriptive piece where the objective was to describe a shell so another person could find it...yeah...anywho, it was for my Advanced Composition class.
NO SPOILERS and nothing tragic or remotely offensive. Just a little tweak for those with a sweet tooth, I guess. Exucse the lack of enthusiasm, I'm dying of fatigue x_x; *melts into a sticky puddle on the floor*

Over at the www.fullmetal-alchemist.com, there is a more accurate tranlation of the FMA "attraction" (not ride) at Universal Studios Japan:

A Fullmetal Alchemist-themed attraction will be introduced at Universal Studios Japan (Osaka), and is scheduled to be opened in late March, 2005. This attraction, based on the television series, 鋼の錬金術師 (Fullmetal Alchemist), will feature a building modelled after the anime's (not specified which) with a mini-theater inside. This theater will have a seating capacity of 200 people, and will show a short, original movie. This attraction targets families.

As an anime-based attraction, this is a first for Universal Studios Japan (that has, up until now, only based their attractions on overseas films or television series). There have been many doubts about the success of this new project; the theme park is, up until now, short of families as patrons. As a result. it was concluded that trying to introduce an attraction that doesn't have the 'Hollywood' label on it would be impossible to most of the theme park's patrons. Even then, Universal Studio Japan is taking a bold leap by trying their luck on a popular home-grown animation this time round.
