I'm assuming any replies to this will be spoilery so that's my warning.
I'm very confused about Ishbal and why they are constantly hunted by the alchemist and other people. It's like they are the new human scapegoat group, equivalent to gypsies and Jewish peoples waaay back when. I particularly noticed this when the biker gang in ep 25 mentioned something about Ishbal people staying close to designated areas. Can anyone shed some light on why so many hate the people or place of Ishbal? Or am I just missing something entirely?
My friend(SI) and I were talking about 25 today in TA and after she got over the whole thing with apple pie (she says it reminds her of "American Pie"; I haven't seen it so I have pretty much no idea why it's that funny), she tells me that she was up most of the night and...was wondering how Al could see/hear/talk since he has no body.
I came up with this theory in 10 seconds:
Al can see, hear and talk. However, he cannot taste or touch (and I'm assuming smell?). Forget the fact that talking is not a sense. Anyway, Al is composed of a suit of armor and his soul. Since half of him is here, it's logical that half of his senses are still functioning.
I'm not going to reveal spoilerage... but...
After seeing 25, I'm sold on this series. That's all there is to it. I was near tears after seeing it and can't begin to describe my feelings. I also eagerly look forward to the next episode in this series, especially after seeing the preview.
I keep seeing these fanfics about Alphonse getting his body back, and nine out of ten of them usually have him automatically being grown up. But I can't help but wonder if that's correct?
Ever since I began watching/reading fma, I always assumed that if/when Al was restored, he'd be back to being a child. Maybe it's just because of his voice or something, but my thought was that even if Al's mind and soul continue to learn and mature (or maybe they can't mature without a physical frame to house them, and he just learns, I don't know), the body that he's going to get is the one he left off with. Or am I just crazy?
I guess another possibility is that if/when the brothers find a way to restore themselves, they'll be able to tailor their bodies to their own liking as long as they have the materials needed to accommodate their desires. (Or maybe they won't even need materials if they have the Philosopher's Stone to pick up the slack, and ow my head hurts gotta stop thinking about thii~iis...)
*baps self on head* Bad Sunny! Bad! Do your homework before your mother disembowels you with a spatula.
I run away now.
Has anybody made, or know where I can get, some FMA Winamp skins? ^_^; I haven't been able to find any.
