Nothing is ever aired in the UK. *weepz* Well, except Pokemon and Beyblade. >.>; I doubt very much that it will be shown here on terrestrial television.

I guess we'll just have to get the DVDs if we want the English dub, ne? XD; Though personally, I prefer the Japanese speaking version. :x

yeah, there seems to be a limit of anime in england, even on the so-called anime channels >__>
i doubted it would be shown on television, but nonetheless, it was worth asking if anyone knew.

i prefer the japanese version too, actually. especially envy's voice XD

i'll just have to wait for the dvd's [& try & save]! T_T

From what I can gather, while we currently lack a station suitable for FMA, we won't get it aired here. Toonami might make an attempt to buy it and show it late at night, however it is highly unlikely and logic would say that of they do that it won't be until they have completely finished the DVD release.

yeah, i guess that's a long shot & a LONG way off... so in the offchance it ever did happen, it wouldn't be for a longlong time.

there's always summer, in case sci-fi channel show some good animes again? there's always a possibility.. i suppose.

This is off-topic, but since FMA takes place in Europe, I think a British-accent dub would be the best. *is shot* Well, I could at least picture Armstrong with one.

heheh, we all have different opinions. in my opinion, english dubs don't work but i guess it depends what anime you're talking about. i almost cried watching rg veda, it was so bad.

but hey, not all british-accent dubs are bad, i guess!

Lol. i guess you could see armstrong with one though ^____^

Apparently Toonami are looking at buying an Adult Swim block. From a newsletter my brother got at a London-based anime club:

Toonami UK confirms new anime titles.

The UK channel Toonami has confirmed that it was acquired the rights to two new shows: One Piece and Rave master. Rave master will start first in February taking the 17:30 slot. One Piece will begin in April.

Both series are popular action adventure titles based on shonen manga. Rave master is based on the manga by Hiro Nashima, which is available from Tokyopop, whilst One Piece is based on the pirate manga by Eiichiro Oda available from viz,and has been running in it's American edition of shonen Jump.

Toonami also hint that they are looking at a UK adult swim block. Their FAQ mentions a few series, but doesn't mention any of the more adult anime titles it aired as CNX.

I should add that all 'typos' are intentional, and left in from the newslatter.

Rave master has already been aired, & the english dub is pretty badly edited T__T
so it wasn't a good start but what do you expect for a 5.30pm slot?
i hate that it's edited to make it better for kids... where's all the good quality original anime gone?

i really hope that they buy an adult swim block. that'd be great. do you have a link to the FAQ? i could just google it actually. Lol. XD
