Cute! :) Your style kind of reminds me of that one show, Disney's Pepper Ann.

That's because the processed milk people drink doesn't have calcium our bodies can aborb. It has calcium, but none that actually gets to the bones. My chiropractor explained this to my mother, when my mother said I should drink milk (I don't like it.) It doesn't actually help and might actually be a little harmful. The whole 'milk helps your bones' thing is really mass advertising, she says, because the big companies actually make it so it's not really helpful at all.

... wtf?

What amazing BS.
Vitani: ed taste of metal by rivenllamrei on November 21st, 2004 11:53 am (UTC)
*shrugs* I didn't make it up. She's a chiropractor, and I figure she would know about bones.

I didn't think you'd made it up. I'm just saying it's total nonsense. If you don't like milk, take elemental calcium supplements instead or something (although I wouldn't buy them from a chiropractor, as they will be overpriced). But the calcium in milk is perfectly okay. The reason cow's milk is not terribly good for you is because it's full of fat, not because the calcium is somehow changed by pasteurization or something.

Calcium is an element. If you change it, it's not calcium anymore. It's not even logical much less true to say that the calcium in milk is any different than the calcium in, say, limestone.

I'm 5'7", which would put me at slightly taller than Roy, and I loathed milk when I was little. Fruit juice certainly seemed to do it, though..

5'1" here and I drank milk like my life depended on it... :(

I'm 6'4 and I drank milk like nuts when I was little but all but stopped 4 or 5 years ago. *shrug* I avoided coffee, that's what it is!

It sucked when I was younger, because I was too tall to ride the kiddie rides I wanted to. *angst*

I guess it will make it difficult should I try and cosplay Ed, tee hee. I guess I could be parallel universe, milk drinking Ed!

I'd love to see that... lol.

*laughs* That's so cute ^__^ I love your style, and the folds in the clothes - something about the way you draw them makes the material look really warm and fluffy. And Al's oh so innocent look is priceless!

Funny, I've only really started drinking milk since I came across FMA... and not once without a little inner grin about Ed, either.

Ashleytacoyaki on November 21st, 2004 09:29 am (UTC)
Another one stuck in my situation ;_____________; My little sister is two years younger than me, about three inches taller than me and is hitting her third growth spurt. Of course, lucky me, I've stopped growing. D:

But I'm still much taller than Ed XDDDD

It's so cute!! X3333 *gives Ed a hug*

^^; I feel *your* pain too, my sister is four years younger than I am, and somehow SEVEN INCHES taller. *sad*

I love the look on Ed's face. Er, haha the "quiet fury but i'm going to explode in .02 seconds" look. =P
