My interpretation
Well, just so folks have other options, I went ahead and did my own verion of Roy's flame circle. The model was from ep 15. The jpg version is what's linked here, but I also have a vector version for whatever purpose y'all may need in both AI and EPS format. Just hit me on AIM or toss me a comment if you want the vector versions. BTW, Illustrator sucks with jpg compression so if you want a "cleaner" jpg, gif, tif let me know and I'll port it over to Photoshop and send a better one.

Forgot to check the anti-alias box when I compressed it. Thats why it's so jaggy. ^^;

Damn, you did a better job than me!
No, serious! BTW, did you freehand the salamander, or is that a dingbat? Much better looking than mine by any measure. And I should have thought of that method of combinin circles to get the flames looking that way, damnit...

Anyway, great job!

Thanks! ^_^;;

Found a clipart of a gecko that looked close enough to the screen cap I was working from and traced it with the Pen/Path tool.

Yeah for stuff like this it's much easier to work with vectors. Bezier curves are perfect for this type of stuff.
