I think I have some FMA midis that I downloaded to put on my phone (but phones and I are not very good friends and I can't figure out how to get it from computer to my sony ericsson phone. BOO. I HATE PHONES.); so yeah.
Colleen: communitywater_alchemist on October 20th, 2004 07:42 pm (UTC)
could I get some of those midis? My phone has its own email address so I can email files and such to my phone. I want some fma ringtones too!

mine does too, but I can't figure it out XD *is electronically illiterate*
Colleenwater_alchemist on October 20th, 2004 10:04 pm (UTC)
I know how to do it (I send it as an attachment and my phone automatically puts it in the right folder). My only problem is getting a midi small enough (i think under 50 kb) so my phone can open it. I have a size limit. I use my yahoo email account and send it through there, then use my phone to open it. I did that to send wallpaper pictures to myself.

Mmm, I have AIM on my phone... and I know I got email, but I don't know how to set it up XD
Colleenwater_alchemist on October 20th, 2004 10:21 pm (UTC)
Ah, I see...if you look through the manuals that came with your phone, it should tell you how to set it up. I have a bilingual Japanese phone and the directions to set mine up were in Japanese, and I managed it fine. It should be really easy.

LoL! Me? Look in the manual? XD *now you know why I suck at electronics*

I assume you guys would want these then right?

I also know that with a verizon phone you can "picture message" yourself the midi files as Verizon are a buch of bastards who lock up their phones. Other wise the attachment method should work too.

I have AT&T. Looked through the manual, still trying to figure out that email thing... XD

angsty lemon ukewabisuke on October 20th, 2004 11:30 pm (UTC)
sure; I'll see if I can find them a bit later since I'm in the middle of something.

If your computer can link up via infrared, you can send it to your own phone.
Or you could buy the Sony Eicsson data cable and wire it onto your phone.

Or do what I do: Find someone with a P800 or P900 so he can dl it directly to his phone, then send it to me via bluetooth. XD

What company is it with?
Wiccat: Cheetah Envy (rootoftheoracle)wiccat on October 20th, 2004 07:00 pm (UTC)

Wiccat: Cheetah Envy (rootoftheoracle)wiccat on October 20th, 2004 07:02 pm (UTC)
I don't know how to program that in :/ There's no section to create ring tones...
Danikillcity on October 20th, 2004 07:04 pm (UTC)
The latest Motorolas have a program called (well, in mine) "iMelody" which lets you create your own ringtones. (In the Multimedia section).

ah, gotcha... one more question. in those, are the * supposed to be entered in too?

Yeah. On my old clunker of a Motorola (120t. HUZZAH) the * allows you to change octaves. If you're music note illeterate an octave is a certain pitch level of a note. E.g. You have Low-Low C, Low C, Middle C(ledger line below the staff), High C, High-High C (ledger line above the staff), High-High-High C.

Or, an octave is an 8-key pitch different from one note to another so from C to High C you have 8 notes seperating it( C, D, E, F, G, A, B, High C). o_o; *goes into her corner of confuzzledness*

You just gotta find a way to convert MIDIs to mmfs to put them on Samsung phones. ^^
